About The Program

Children in Toddler Pre-3’s Class are 2 years to 3 years of age. We do not require children to be potty-trained to attend. When children are close to three years of age they may move into the preschool class. Attending Toddler class helps with a smooth transition into the larger preschool classroom.

A Class for 2 year olds? Yes! This is a fun and gentle way for young children to be introduced into a school setting. As a first time experience away from home, children will have an opportunity to paint, play and make a mess! Teachers begin introducing some short structured activities such as circle time and reading. Basic Spanish and Mandarin are also introduced to the class.

Toddler Class has it’s own classroom and children also have the opportunity to mingle with the “big” kids in the main preschool classroom. They will bring their own lunch and learn the routine of preschool in a nurturing environment.

With a lot of love and nurturing we work with each family individually to be sure your child feels safe and supported. Children are never left to “cry it out” and teachers are in constant communication to make sure parents feel secure in leaving their children at school. Phone calls, texts and even pictures are sent to parents to help with this stage of introduction to school.

Toddler Pre-3's Schedule

Toddlers and Pre 3’s Class is held 2 days a week from 8:45am until 1:00pm. Classes are typically held on Tuesday and Thursday but some Toddlers may attend a regular day in the preschool with permission from the Director.
